Is weed control safe for my pets and kids?
Safety is our first priority for your loved ones, your property, and our team members. We follow all the product guidelines and licensing requirements for the weed control products we use. As a general time-frame, depending on weather, we recommend all kids and pets stay off the lawn for 12 hours after treatments. It's best to wait until the lawn has dried and liquid products are absorbed.
Do I need to be home for you to service my lawn?
Nope! Our team does a majority of the applications during business hours so we generally do not expect our clients to be home. Please make sure to keep the gate unlocked and the pets inside before you leave so our team member will have access to the front and back of your yard.
Do I need to clean up my lawn before you come?
Why is my final price different than what is on the website?
Yes, please! A clean lawn helps us provide a more effective service. Toys on the lawn, leaves, and other things left lying around can affect our ability to give your lawn the attention it needs.
If your lawn is less than 10,000 sqft, your price will not be!
Please give us a call or email if your lawn fits this size. If your lawn is greater than 10,000 sqft, we will slightly adjust the price of you service plan to accommodate for more product and time required to treat your beautiful lawn. When we adjust your investment in a greener lawn, we will reach out via email to notify you of the increase and charge the credit card on file the difference between our listed price and amount required for your lawn.
If I book service in the middle of the season, do I receive a discount?
Yes! We will pro-rate our packages depending on the length of time left in the season. There will be fewer services remaining mid-season, and the price will reflect this.
Does my service renew each year?
Yes! For your convenience, our green lawn services in Crystal Lake, IL will continue each year.

We will contact you by email at the beginning of each season notifying you of the approximate start date for services that year. At this time, you have the choice to change your package or cancel all together.
When do aeration services happen?
We perform fall aerations only. Major growing seasons occur in the spring and fall, which is why it is best to decompact the ground and open it up for water and nutrients to enter during these periods. We only offer fall aerations because there is a much greater chance for weeds to establish in your lawn when you aerate in spring. We don't want you to fight an uphill battle with weeds all season!
Can I water my lawn after you apply fertilizer?
Absolutely, water away! We want to make sure the fertilizer embeds into the soil. Watering the fertilizer helps it enter the soil and begin to provide nutrients to your grass.
However, if a weed control spray application happened at the same time, then we ask you to please hold off on watering for 12 hours to let the weed control absorb into the weeds.
